Manufacturing and Process Engineer, PCBA (Starlink)

The role is for a Manufacturing and Processing Engineer for PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) in the Starlink project at SpaceX.

• Own and manage PCBA processes and products for in-house production
• Drive processes for volume production of PCBA
• Manage new product introduction of PCBA assemblies
• Manage work instructions, process documentation, and training
• Track schedule, work-in-progress levels, and defect rates
• Identify trends and opportunities for optimizing product output and quality enhancements
• Drive corrective actions and process improvements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years of professional experience in manufacturing processes or related areas
• Experience with high volume production, statistical techniques, and IPC manufacturing standards
• Skills in SQL, Python, Six Sigma, and failure analysis
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work extended hours as needed
