Internship, Thermal R&D (Winter/Spring 2025)

This is an internship position at Tesla in the Thermal Engineering team, focusing on system level thermal architecture supporting Tesla vehicles.

• Perform testing including instrumentation, data acquisition, and processing
• Develop detailed and reduced order thermal models for hardware optimization
• Contribute to driving vehicle performance, supercharge capability, occupant comfort, and NVH

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics
• Experience in developing numerical models and experimental characterization of thermal systems and heat exchangers
