Manufacturing Engineer - Propellant Loading, Kuiper Payload Processing Facility

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at Amazon Kuiper Infrastructure LLC, focused on leading propellant loading operations for satellites in the Project Kuiper initiative.

• Planning material flow and implementing manufacturing processes for satellite propellant loading
• Loading propellant into satellites
• Continuously improving propellant loading and test processes
• Interfacing with facilities personnel to set up and work within a payload processing facility
• Evaluating and improving takt time
• Authoring and implementing work instructions and standard processes
• Resolving anomalies and implementing corrective actions

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, physics, material science, or related discipline
• 2+ years’ experience with mechanical and/or propellant or pneumatics systems
• 1+ years’ experience authoring and executing test procedures
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport
• Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
