GM is seeking Controls Engineer Interns to provide electrical support for industrial manufacturing equipment at various plant locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical projects and improvements
  • Participate in plant meetings and activities
  • Develop cost estimates and investment forecasts
  • Utilize statistical methods for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate changes to improve assembly process
  • Program manufacturing technology
  • Analyze product, process, and technology for manufacturing methods

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Available full-time during summer months
  • Willingness to work in a plant environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple projects
