Mechanical Engineering Technician

REV Robotics is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support their mission of providing quality, low-cost educational robotics parts for STEM Education.

• Assist with designing and building prototype products
• Assemble products and parts
• Provide mechanical 3D CAD for specific products and parts
• Design and build test equipment
• Assist with product testing and evaluation, as well as creating appropriate documentation
• Operate production equipment, as needed
• Other responsibilities as needed to ensure that the goals of REV are met

• Similar experience, education, or enrolled in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program
• Experience working on or with a FIRST Robotics team
• CAD experience (SOLIDWORKS preferred)
• 3D Printer use and maintenance experience
• Follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Customer service experience is desirable
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
