The position is for a full-time Mechanical Engineer 1 in the Mechanical department at a company providing engineering services to various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Produce equipment datasheets and specifications
- Develop and review pipe specifications and sizing calculations
- Create Bills of Material (BOMs) for pipes, valves, and fittings
- Perform technical evaluations on contractor bid packages
- Coordinate with other discipline engineers and designers
- Produce line and equipment lists
- Perform stress analysis using CAESAR II
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and 3D modeling
- Ability to review construction drawings and documents
- Experience with stress analysis and CAESAR II
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
- Ability to work on-site as needed
