Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and electromechanical systems.
  • Conduct motion control and servo tuning.
  • Create dynamic models and perform simulations in Matlab.
  • Implement software on real-time platforms.
  • Analyze controls-related machine design and select actuators, sensors, and other components.
  • Limited travel within and outside the US.

Job Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautic, or similar engineering field with 2 years of minimum work experience.
  • Skilled in mathematical modeling and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB for data analysis and control simulation.
  • Experience in C and C++ programming for Linux and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with system dynamics and control systems theory.
  • Hands-on experience with control systems and tuning.
  • Some experience in electronic circuit design and prototyping.
