Mechatronics Engineer

Atomic Semi is an early-stage hardware startup focused on building a small, fast semiconductor fab. They are seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join their team and work on automation, design, and controls.

• Design and develop automation solutions
• Create thorough documentation
• Perform system integration and troubleshooting
• Fabricate and assemble mechanical components
• Develop testing protocols and validate system performance
• Identify and implement process improvements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Industry experience in mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in mechanical component design, rapid prototyping, system integration, motion controls, and Python scripting
• Nice-to-have skills include vendor management, ML/computer vision software, rapid machine iterations, cleanroom equipment experience, and vibration experience.
