Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Aperia Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team and lead various projects related to innovative hardware and data analytics solutions for commercial vehicle fleets.

• Design and optimize next-generation products
• Lead design projects and mentor less experienced engineers
• Uphold good documentation practices
• Formulate early concepts and gather feedback
• Develop test plans and fixtures
• Direct suppliers for production readiness
• Collaborate with operations team for product launch

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience leading projects and guiding teams
• Extensive knowledge of production processes
• Strong competency in mechanical design, systems thinking, electromechanical systems, and more
• Familiarity with test fixture design, reliability science, mechatronics, data science, and fabrication techniques
