Electrical Engineering Analyst

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join their Richardson, Texas office for a full-time position focused on consumer electronics.

• Utilize technical software programs for analysis and QC of deliverables
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines
• Develop familiarity with regulations and standards
• Work on various projects such as building MEP, power distribution, EV charging, etc.
• Gain exposure to solar/energy projects and Intelligent Transportation Systems Design
• Assist with technical specification and report writing for electrical equipment cost research

• ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2025
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations
• Interest in building MEP, photometrics, lighting, power distribution, etc.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in electrical engineering
• Strong communication and organizational skills
