Senior Mechanical Engineer

The role is for a full-time senior mechanical engineer position in Redmond, WA, focusing on hardware prototyping for AR/VR products within a small, collaborative team.

• Conceptualize and design parts and assemblies involving complex mechanical, electrical, and optical components
• Generate CAD models and drawings, identify fabrication methodology, and assemble prototype devices
• Perform DFM/DFA assessments, design and fabricate test fixtures, and maintain prototype parts inventory

• 5+ years of CAD experience, preferably with NX
• Proficiency in plastic and metal part design, statistical tolerance analysis, and functional dimensioning
• Hands-on mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly experience, knowledge of material properties, and CAD software proficiency
