Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Electromagnetic Enviro. Effects (E3)

The position is for a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) at Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, Florida.

• Write, interpret, and allocate E3 requirements
• Present at design reviews on E3 issues
• Design ground systems, shielding, filters, and interface circuitry
• Prepare and review E3 test procedures and reports
• Train and mentor less experienced E3 engineers
• Develop processes and documentation for E3 engineering practice
• Interact across all program phases explaining complex technical E3 issues

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in a STEM discipline
• DoD Secret clearance
• Experience with MIL-STD-464 or MIL-STD-461
• 2 years of RF, Test, or design engineering experience
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, defense industry experience, EMI design experience, modeling and simulation skills
