Controls and Automation Engineer

Peak Energy is seeking an experienced Controls and Automation Engineer to work on battery manufacturing and process automation.

• Design and develop control systems for battery manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to integrate automation solutions
• Analyze production processes for automation improvements
• Implement data acquisition systems for informed decision-making
• Develop and maintain safety systems
• Provide support for troubleshooting and maintenance
• Work with cross-functional teams to align control systems with production needs

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control Systems, or related field)
• Proven experience in controls and automation engineering in battery manufacturing or related industry
• Strong knowledge of battery manufacturing processes and control systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI design
• Experience with Beckhoff PLCs and TwinCAT programming preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork aptitude
