Mechanical Engineer

The role is for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of enterprise storage platforms at NetApp.

• Lead the mechanical design and development of storage platforms.
• Collaborate with system architects and cross-functional teams to define next-generation products.
• Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses for mechanical solutions.
• Design and develop mechanical systems and prototypes.
• Work with design partners to validate product designs.
• Create technical documentation and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Stay updated with advancements in mechanical and thermal engineering technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's degree preferred, with 10+ years of experience in product development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and thermal engineering principles.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data center industry standards.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
