Automation Engineer II

SimpliSafe is looking for a Software Engineer in Test II to ensure the quality of embedded software in their hardware security products.

• Collaborate with software development teams and QA personnel to enhance the quality of embedded software.
• Design and implement automated test scripts using Python.
• Develop specialized test frameworks for embedded systems.
• Create software interfaces for seamless interaction with hardware.
• Conduct proactive reviews of product requirements and design documents.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in software testing.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software or automated test development.
• Proficiency in Python programming and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
