ML Applications Engineer

Phaidra is a remote company focused on AI-powered control systems for industrial automation.

• Wear different hats: Software Engineer, Controls Engineer, Data scientist, ML engineer.
• Understand Phaidra’s internal platform capabilities and tools.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers for customer solutions.
• Maintain customer applications and resolve product issues.
• Identify AI behavior issues in customer systems and implement improvements.
• Build tools to support work.
• Document research, communications, and actions clearly.

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Background as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer in industrial controls.
• Understanding of ML concepts and non-deterministic systems.
• Proficiency in a high-level programming language, preferably Python.
• Curiosity, problem-solving skills, and desire for real-world impact.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Alignment with Phaidra’s values.
