Project Engineer, Manufacturing Operational Excellence

The role is within Tesla's internal 4680 cell production organization, responsible for aligning technical work with overall technology and business objectives.

• Develop understanding of cylindrical cell manufacturing process
• Connect business objectives to project lists and drive accountability
• Track and report progress to executive team
• Define long term strategy to improve yield and quality
• Define multiple solutions for each problem and balance risk across different teams
• Build funding requests and track budgets

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience in data visualization techniques
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills in a high-growth environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Data-driven experience in high volume manufacturing
• Strong engineering skills with proven track record
• Knowledge of production operations
