Electrical Engineer

The position is for an Electrical Engineer/Electrical Designer at APTUS Engineering, specializing in MEP engineering consulting with a focus on sustainable design and system commissioning.

• Prepare drawings using engineering design software
• Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects
• Assist in design and production of power, grounding, and lighting systems
• Perform electrical calculations and load analysis
• Prepare construction documents and specifications
• Document energy compliance calculations
• Conduct construction administration and field investigation tasks

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT
• Strong communication skills
• EIT certification or ability to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
• Understanding of National Electrical Code
• Independent initiative and teamwork skills
