Responsibilities
- Review contract drawings and ensure specifications are met.
- Develop preliminary drawing list and schedule for design activities.
- Select equipment based on application, safety factors, and costs.
- Design project's electrical and control system.
- Prepare specifications for components and oversee development of electrical drawings.
- Assist project manager with technical expertise.
- Prepare project documentation including manuals and instructions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in industrial furnaces.
- Competent knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and control instrumentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Time management skills for multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer, experience in the steel industry, knowledge of Spanish or Italian.
