Principal Electrical Engineer

The position is within the Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business at DRS, focusing on developing, manufacturing, and supporting infrared and electro-optical solutions for military applications.

• Drive technology and project completion within budget and schedule
• Design, develop, analyze, and document products and systems
• Mentor and coach other engineers
• Review customer specifications and develop designs
• Provide budget, cost, and schedule input
• Analyze designs, specify components, and support program requirements
• Develop prototypes and communicate effectively with stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8+ years of experience
• Mastery of technologies and domain knowledge
• Experience in analog and power electronics or digital CCA design
• Proficiency in various tools and software related to engineering
• U.S. Citizenship and DOD security clearance required
