Power Systems and Coordination Engineer

The role involves designing relay and protection systems for high-voltage and medium-voltage power networks, performing fault analysis, load flow studies, and relay coordination studies, and developing electrical calculations for various projects.

• Determine methods for data collection and analysis related to substation components and primary electrical facilities.
• Design relay and protection systems for power networks.
• Perform fault analysis and relay coordination studies.
• Develop electrical calculations and one-line diagrams.
• Support senior engineers and project managers.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Professional Engineering Licensure required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and planners.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Remain current in the latest electrical engineering techniques.
