The role is for an Electrical Controls Engineer at the Kurt J. Lesker Company, a manufacturer and distributor of thin film deposition systems for the vacuum technology market.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings for electrical components and systems
- Design power distribution systems and equipment control systems
- Incorporate RF power supplies into the design
- Perform prototype assembly and testing of components
- Troubleshoot equipment during the building phase
- Inspect incoming products from new vendors
- Assist with estimating, proposal work, and quality checks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2 or more years of industry experience
- Strong CAD experience
- Familiarity with compliance codes such as NEC, NFPA, UL, CE
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 and international standards
- Experience with agency compliance codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
