Senior Manufacturing Engineer, New Product Introduction (NPI)

Dexterity is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer focused on New Product Introduction (NPI) to optimize CAD, product lifecycle management, and bill of materials processes, ensuring a seamless transition from design to production.

• Develop and assess strategies for managing product data and bill of materials.
• Establish engineering standards and update naming conventions for consistency.
• Configure product data management and ERP software systems integration.
• Manage obsolescence and product build documentation.
• Engage with design engineers for new product development and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability and contribute to mechanical and electrical designs.
• Transform new designs into manufacturing bill of materials.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Manufacturing and/or NPI engineer.
• Expertise in Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management systems.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and NPI principles.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and focus on data integrity.
