Principal Robotics Engineer

The role involves owning the design and implementation of software interfaces for a microlocation product at Humatics headquarters in Waltham, MA.

• Design and develop application domain-specific software development kits
• Translate core mathematical processes into code
• Participate in code reviews and testing activities
• Work with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions
• Provide thought leadership in software design
• Participate in in-house testing activities

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field
• Proficiency in Linux operating system and C++/Python coding
• Strong understanding of multithreading and networking code
• Experience in API design, documentation, and data analytics
• Ability to listen to customers, understand their needs, and translate them into product requirements
• Nice to have: experience with mobile robots, industrial networking protocols, data analytics, cross-platform build, CI/CD, and Docker.
