Electrical Engineer - Senior

The company, Sundyne, is a global manufacturer of precision-engineered pumps and compressors for various industries. They are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join their Controls Engineering Team in Arvada, Colorado.

• Study project and customer specifications to develop control packages
• Maintain product safety in designs
• Perform system specification, design, and development for Control Systems and machinery monitoring systems
• Develop procedures, manuals, and documentation for projects
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams
• Generate PLC code, Bill of Materials, and other controls documentation
• Prepare Factory Acceptance Test procedures and perform tests

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in electrical engineering
• 5-8 years or more of related work experience
• Understanding of automation systems, Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical processes
• Knowledge of hazardous area electrical classification and international requirements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MCC circuitry, VFDs, and Rockwell/Siemens PLC programming
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and rotating machinery
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
