Mechanical Engineer - Intern

Nabors is looking for a Mechanical Engineer intern to join their Energy Transition Solutions Team, focusing on designing and building components and systems for various projects related to energy transition.

• Model mechanical design concepts using 3D parametric software.
• Perform engineering calculations and Finite Element Analysis.
• Check and release drawings, prepare assembly instructions, and bills of material.
• Provide technical support to various departments and interface with vendors and customers.
• Assist with prototype assembly, diagnose problems, and manufacture components.
• Participate in safety meetings and tolerance stack-up verification.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to effectively present technical information and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, EPDM, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD.
• Engineering expertise in machine design, stress analysis, and fluid power.
• Knowledge of drafting principles, manufacturing software, and additive manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Design creativity and problem-solving skills.
