The Special Projects Division of KPFF is seeking a Junior or Senior level Mechanical Engineering student for a summer internship in their Seattle Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist a mechanical engineer with project design tasks
  • Assist with project site visits

  • General understanding of stormwater hydrology and AutoCAD/Civil 3D

  • This role involves assisting with mechanical engineering tasks for various infrastructure projects, including ports, stormwater conveyance, environmental cleanup, and rail infrastructure. The intern will work closely with project teams, clients, and consultants to solve multi-discipline challenges in a team-oriented environment. The position requires physical demands such as field inspections and occasional lifting of objects up to 15 lbs.
