The Operations group at ZOLL Medical Corporation is offering a 6-month Co-Op assignment in the Manufacturing Engineering Department for a student to work on various projects related to medical device manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing processes for medical devices
- Create and update production fixtures in CAD
- Update documentation and work instructions
- Conduct root cause investigations
- Assist in floor layouts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Apply Lean/6Sigma techniques for process improvements
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
- Ability to learn and apply Lean/6Sigma techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
