Manufacturing Engineer, Semi Assembly

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at Tesla working on the Tesla Semi, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

• Review manufacturing feasibility of product designs
• Provide detailed assessments and feedback on product, process, and tooling
• Develop process documentation and project planning documents
• Support development and introduction of processes and equipment
• Work with partner vendors to develop production lines
• Ensure production line layouts and equipment are optimized
• Drive strategies to rapidly ramp the quality and rate of production lines

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of related experience in complex assembly processes
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with modifying jigs, fixtures, and coordinating equipment installations
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing best practices
• Experience with CAD software
• Up to 30% travel required
