Mechanical Engineer

The role is for a Mechanical Engineer at E-Space, working on designing and manufacturing satellite structures and mechanisms to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services.

• Work closely with satellite sub-system teams on designing structures and mechanisms
• Utilize CAD modeling expertise for managing CAD assemblies and drawings
• Develop build documents and drawings for hardware
• Define, build, and test designs from engineering units to flight hardware
• Support fabrication assembly and testing of flight build

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent
• 2 years of hands-on experience using CAD skills for modeling and drawings
• Successful implementation of design solutions in a complex environment
• Experience with mechanical design for extreme environments and mass constraints
• Bonus: Experience with complex satellite/space systems
