Senior Electrical Engineer

Albedo is a company focused on unlocking the potential of satellite imagery by providing ultra-high resolution data for various applications.

• Bring-up of custom avionics hardware in the lab, including PCB’s, firmware, debugging interfaces, and initial testing
• Focused on detailed board and SoC-level embedded systems design
• Develop the driver elements of the SoC or SoC’s within the Albedo bus design
• Review future circuit designs and their ability to communicate with various Albedo hardware
• Work cross-functionally to integrate software and hardware including flatsat testing and integration, hardware- and software-in-the-loop testing

• Solid first principles knowledge of electrical engineering and modern embedded systems
• Familiar with electrical systems integration, including design, prototype/lab integration, and flight verification, to ensure all analog electrical aspects of the system will successfully interoperate
• Familiarity with common data protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN etc.
• Familiarity with software at a low level (Bare metal programming and firmware but not necessarily application development or Linux) and hardware at a high level (test, bring-up, integration)
