Responsibilities
- Develop unit tests and software quality measures in Mathworks Simulink environment.
- Create simulations, software tests, and flight test objectives to enhance robustness and performance of the controls system.
- Deploy autonomous controls system and conduct sensor and actuator commissioning.
- Collaborate with the team to refine existing autonomous controls system and guide feature development.
- Participate in design reviews, systems verification, and validation.
- Work in a fast-paced startup environment to meet product launch schedules.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for control systems design and simulation.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Quick learner with a "Startup Can Do Attitude" and attention to detail.
- Experience with autonomous control systems, MATLAB/Simulink toolboxes, Model-Based-Design principles, and Embedded C/C++ software development.
- Knowledge of industrial automation hardware, sensors, motors, valves, and PLC or Microcontroller programming.
