Electrical Distribution Engineer - 2460.29

Wade Trim is seeking an Electric Distribution Designer/Engineer to join their team to improve infrastructure in Midwest offices.

• Design and construction work package development for electric distribution systems.
• Prepare work order maps using CAD and GIS software.
• Consult with planners for design drawings and modifications.
• Complete asset assessment on electric equipment and circuits.
• Perform engineering calculations based on field information.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Provide technical oversight and QAQC of team designs.

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of utility company experience.
• Knowledge of NESC and distribution design standards.
• Experience with power system planning and operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Skilled with attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience with CAD, GIS, and power system analysis software.
