Responsibilities
- Define mechanical designs for various consumer electronic products in collaboration with different teams.
- Utilize Pro/E CAD program for 3D database and drawing creation/review.
- Conduct Mechanical Design Reviews with customers, including tolerance analysis, FEA calculations, DFM, and manufacturing flow.
- Interface with testing labs and suppliers for development and cost requirements.
- Participate in international conference calls with US customers and manufacturing teams in China.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years of product design experience.
- Proficiency in metal stamping, plastic injection molding, and basic manufacturing techniques.
- Experience with CAD programs like Pro/E and UG, as well as Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of full design and development cycles for consumer electronic products.
- Familiarity with FATP assembly and module level design is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and fluency in conversational Mandarin is desirable.
