Tool Engineer, Senior

The role is for a Senior Tool Engineer at Lockheed Martin MFC in the Tool Design team, responsible for designing and developing custom tools and equipment used in manufacturing missiles and missile systems.

• Designing industrial tooling and equipment for weapons systems manufacturing.
• Developing tooling such as dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures.
• Creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Reviewing and improving defective tooling.
• Providing input on manufacturing methods and process enhancements.
• Collaborating within a multi-functional team.

• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent.
• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing interpretation.
• Experience in tool concept and design.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site and remotely.
