Electrical Engineer

Delta is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for their downtown Chicago office with experience in electrical engineering design for various projects in transportation.

• Perform electrical design for facilities, lighting, power distribution, alarms, communications, etc.
• Conduct roadway lighting and photometric calculations using AGI 32 software
• Design Intelligent Transportation Systems including fiber optic cable sizing, CCTV, etc.
• Attend client meetings and provide construction phase services
• Prepare and modify drawings in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microstation
• Coordinate with project team members and participate in QA/QC process
• Prioritize tasks and balance workload according to project needs

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited)
• EIT/FE certification or IL PE license
• 4-8 years of experience
• Proficiency in CADD solutions like Microstation, AutoCad, and Revit
• Strong knowledge of electrical trade practices, standards, and building codes
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
