Electrical Design Engineer II

The role involves validating Rivian vehicle platform electronics and utilizing dedicated hardware for system automation.

• Bring up and debug electronics on the bench (hands-on necessary)
• Validate and Characterize Rivian vehicle platform electronics
• Integrate compute systems within the vehicle and perform validation measurements
• Work cross-functionally with software, Test-automation, validation, and design teams
• Conduct validation data and system reviews of different vehicle features

• Electrical and Computer Engineering students; Master’s degree preferred
• Deep understanding of Analog, Digital, and SoC architecture
• Proficiency in designing and validating systems with amplifiers and ADCs
• Understanding of designing PCBs for ADC, Amplifiers, and PowerFET
• Proficiency in schematic capture and design layout tools
• Lab proficiency – knowledge of equipment and good lab practices
• Familiarity with electronic and PCB manufacturing processes and material
