Design Engineer

The position is for a Design Engineer in Baldwin Park, CA, focusing on mechanical and electrical aviation safety components.

• Perform reverse engineering, inspection, and measurement of existing products
• Design, test, and build mechanical/electrical aviation safety components
• Review designs for accuracy and manufacturability
• Provide technical solutions support for engineering tasks
• Ensure components adhere to industry standards
• Update manufacturing/testing processes
• Update drawings for revised submittals

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in AutoCad Inventor Professional and MS Office
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of aerospace quality management systems
• Ability to set goals and objectives to meet business expectations
• Ambitious, flexible, and willing to learn and grow professionally
