Engineer I - Electrical Power System Protection and Control

The Engineer I will provide system protection and control engineering services and support assistance in a safe, regulatory compliant, timely, and cost-effective manner.

• Develop reports, work plans, and recommend actions based on objectives and budget considerations
• Coordinate project work plans and manage through completion
• Assist in preparing estimates, analyzing data, and making recommendations
• Maintain technical records and collaborate with team members
• Provide engineering assistance for customers and internal staff
• Develop drawings for protective relay schemes and control system connections
• Assist in developing equipment specifications and scope of work

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of protective relay settings and control system design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Understanding of NERC and/or CIP Compliance standards
• Project management experience is a plus
