Manufacturing Engineer (Fluid Systems)

The role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX focusing on fluid systems for launch vehicles and spacecraft.

• Drive root-cause analysis for quality escapes and in-process issues
• Apply process improvement methodologies
• Manage projects and execute to tight timelines
• Train technicians, engineers, and leaders on operations practices
• Work with design engineers to evaluate designs for manufacturability
• Implement tooling and test solutions
• Facilitate production of tubing, welded assemblies, and high-pressure testing

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 1+ years of mechanical design and manufacturing experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Experience with high volume manufacturing and quality tools
• Ability to make appropriate assumptions and perform trade studies
• Experience with metallic manufacturing techniques
• Excellent communication skills
