Aerospace Engineer

The Aerospace Engineer will focus on detailed design and prototyping activities for fixed-wing VTOL/UAS aircraft using LPI’s hybrid drive.

• Design and develop fixed-wing VTOL sub-systems with hybrid engine technology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives
• Assist in preparing progress reports for DoD customers

• Hands-on experience in designing and testing aerospace components
• Proficiency in mechanical design and analysis tools
• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of aerospace or electric vehicle product development
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with FEA, rapid prototyping, flight control systems, and composite structures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute innovative ideas
• Prior experience in autonomous systems and electromechanics
