Mechanical Design Engineer, Dimensional Analysis

The role involves being part of the Tesla Dimensional Analysis team responsible for the engineering design and development of new products, focusing on high-volume manufacturing and ensuring world-class quality.

• Conduct dimensional CAE simulation using specialized software
• Engage in mechanical design of various vehicle systems
• Work on parallel design programs from concept to production
• Interact cross-functionally with various teams
• Utilize GD&T expertise for mechanical design

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 1+ years' experience in CAE or dimensional engineering
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in Catia or similar CAD system
• Ability in multi-variable capability analysis and statistical testing
• Familiarity with GD&T and ASME Y14.5
