The role is for a Desktop Support Engineer in the Santa Clara, CA office, responsible for supporting the bank's end user computing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for software installation, testing, and upgrades
- Test system functionality, performance, and stability
- Monitor and enhance systems and technical infrastructure
- Maintain technical proficiency and communicate effectively with internal clients
- Act as an escalation point for the Service Desk team
- Work on incidents/requests in ServiceNow and handle small projects/tasks
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in Systems support role OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 10, MECM(SCCM), MS Office Suite, network infrastructure, VOIP, and hardware/software troubleshooting
- Knowledge of scripting languages and Active Directory
- Understanding of network protocols and interfaces
- Ability to lift PC/Printer equipment and be on call 24/7
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
