The role is for a Desktop Support Engineer in the Santa Clara, CA office, responsible for supporting the bank's end user computing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for software installation, testing, and upgrades
  • Test system functionality, performance, and stability
  • Monitor and enhance systems and technical infrastructure
  • Maintain technical proficiency and communicate effectively with internal clients
  • Act as an escalation point for the Service Desk team
  • Work on incidents/requests in ServiceNow and handle small projects/tasks

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in Systems support role OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10, MECM(SCCM), MS Office Suite, network infrastructure, VOIP, and hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and Active Directory
  • Understanding of network protocols and interfaces
  • Ability to lift PC/Printer equipment and be on call 24/7
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
