The role is for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Tesla's Vehicle Engineering Team focusing on Interior Engineering for future Tesla vehicle product lines.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and execute world-class interior systems
- Collaborate with design/styling and Engineering teams
- Implement processes for automotive interior craftsmanship
- Complete and release interior components and designs
- Collaborate with suppliers and support vehicle development milestones
- Ensure manufacturing and assembly feasibility of interior systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3-10 years of experience in Product Development/Design Engineering
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of latest design technologies
- Experience with complex assemblies and production principles
