Senior Electrical Engineer

The position is for a Senior Electrical Engineer at Broetje Automation in Elk Grove Village, IL, a company specializing in aircraft manufacturing automation and robotics.

• Act as an expert resource to the electrical and controls engineering team
• Mentor and train junior team members
• Provide electrical and controls engineering input for new equipment design
• Generate and maintain electrical BOMs
• Develop full electrical drawing set in EPLAN
• Assist Sales team with electrical engineering expertise
• Verify NEC code compliance

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience designing large automated systems
• Strong understanding of electrical design practices and control systems
• Proficiency in PLC programming and EPLAN
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation practices
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and UL electrical standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
