MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a Robotics and Autonomous Systems Engineer to drive advancements in autonomous systems and robotics within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Support innovation within the field of autonomous systems
- Collaborate with a diverse team on research and development projects
- Contribute to theoretical research and deployment of systems in various environments
- Develop software using languages like C++, Rust, Julia, MATLAB, Python, etc.
- Solve complex technical problems related to robotics and control theory
- Work on-site for 80% of the time
- Obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
Job Requirements
- M.S. or B.S. with 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Robotics, or Computer Science
- Strong programming skills in C++, Rust, Julia, MATLAB, Python, Bash, Lua
- Experience with ROS/ROS2 in Linux environments
- Ability to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Prior internship experience in robotics or autonomous systems is desired
- U.S. citizenship is required
