Staff Electrical Integration Engineer

Rivian is seeking a Staff Electrical Integration Engineer to work on integrating and testing vehicle power, communications, architecture, and energy distribution requirements for low-voltage electrical systems.

• Contribute to evaluating system failure modes and creating integration and validation plans.
• Develop and execute test plans for electrical architecture performance.
• Analyze test outcomes, create reports, and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify cross-functional gaps, work on solutions, and ensure vehicle functionality.
• Support systems engineering activities and debugging of hardware and software issues.
• Assist in the integration and testing of next-generation electrical systems.
• Support proof of concept development.

• Bachelor's with 10 years, Master's with 8 years, or PhD with 3 years in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong technical competence in electrical engineering and system integration.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and familiarity with Python/scripting languages.
• Ability to collaborate, think creatively, and problem-solve effectively.
• Understanding of automotive requirements and test/measurement tools.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
