Mechanical Design Engineer

The role is for a Design Engineer at Molex, focusing on developing industrial connector and cable systems for industrial automation customers.

• Design and develop new products for the industrial connector industry
• Develop product and application specifications for testing
• Present concepts and requirements internally and to customers
• Provide application and technical support
• Follow all product development steps
• Responsible for documentation and expediting new product programs
• Interact in a cross-functional team environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development
• Experience with GD&T and Tolerance Analyses
• Experience with advanced parametric 3D CAD systems
• Siemens NX experience
• Design experience with industrial connectors and cable assemblies
• Good understanding of Six Sigma quality development tools
