Perception - Robot Perception Test Engineer

The role is for a Robot Perception Test Engineer at Bright Machines, focusing on developing, deploying, and supporting industrial strength robot-based automation with a 3D-vision system.

• Verify algorithms and functional features, develop software automation pipelines/tools for testing
• Develop test scenarios for accuracy and performance evaluation of Robot Perception software
• Communicate with various teams to identify issues, gaps in test coverage, and document findings
• Design and build custom hardware test fixtures for efficient validation
• Qualify software releases for deployment to microfactories

• MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 1+ year of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with build & test automation, CI/CD tools, robotic systems, and sensors
• Knowledge of machine vision, sensor calibration, Linux OS, and cloud platform tools
