Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement processes, tooling, and fixtures in collaboration with various departments.
- Define, measure, and report key metrics for production quality and cost.
- Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (pFMEAs) and implement mitigations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for design and process control.
- Evaluate existing engineering processes and implement improvements.
- Lead product/process engineering problem-solving using Lean principles.
- Identify opportunities to improve products and reduce costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of experience.
- Experience with instrument manufacturing under ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 standards.
- Ability to review mechanical drawings and read schematics.
- Creation of pFMEAs, ECOs, work instructions, and qualification documentation.
- Willingness to travel to contract manufacturers.
- Desire to be part of a rapidly evolving organization.
- Experience with SolidWorks, Oracle, Arena is a plus.
